Abstract

In the realm of communication, clarity is paramount. Whether it's a conversation with a colleague, a phone call with a loved one, or a critical announcement broadcasted to the masses, the ability to convey information clearly and effectively is essential. However, in real-world scenarios, speech signals often contend with various interferences such as background noise, reverberation, or signal degradation during transmission. These factors can significantly degrade speech quality, leading to misunderstandings and reduced intelligibility. Fortunately, advancements in signal processing and machine learning have paved the way for innovative techniques to address these challenges. One such technique gaining traction is speech enhancement through information gap filling. By leveraging the power of data-driven algorithms, information gap filling endeavors to restore missing or corrupted segments of speech signals, thereby enhancing their clarity and intelligibility.
