Abstract

The scientific research in the field of word-formation grammar of the English language brought to your attention examines all the fundamental ways of forming words in modern English through the word-formation means of semi-prefixation and semi-suffixation. This article scientifically substantiates this conceptual grammatical problem, gives all the main word-forming affixes with regard to semi-suffixation and semi-prefixation, classifies them into the structural completeness of the described topic, and also provides their numerous practical examples.
