Abstract

This paper delves into the nuanced linguistic features employed in artistic discourse, focusing specifically on the portrayal of mental and emotional states in both English and Uzbek languages. Through a comparative analysis, it examines how writers in these languages employ various linguistic tools, such as metaphors, imagery, and syntactic structures, to convey the intricate complexities of human emotions and psychological experiences. By exploring the unique cultural and linguistic contexts of English and Uzbek, this study aims to shed light on the diverse strategies utilized by writers to evoke and describe the inner workings of the human mind and heart in artistic expression.
