Abstract

The conflict that started on February 24-th, 2022 that hade the look at first glance as a bilateral problem between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, the Russian invasion on Ukraine, deceived the world’s leading countries and pushed the borders to an expectation distance of WWIII fear. The Russian President Putin’s initial aim, as stated, was to overrun Ukraine and depose its government, ending for good its desire to join the Western defensive alliance, NATO. After a month of failure to knee down the government of Ukraine and to stop their aspiration to join Western defensive alliance, NATO. After more than two and a half months of failure, Putin abandoned his bid to capture the capital Kyiv and rotated his ambition to something else. His ambitions started to grow for Ukraine’s east and south. As he addressed the Russian people that he needs to “demilitarize” Ukraine and protect the genocide that Ukraine’s government was using for the Russian people that lived in that country, he changed his statement that his goal is to make Ukraine neutral.
