The Future of Education with the Help of AI

We could already be living in the "peak humanity" period, in which the majority of us possess the highest levels of knowledge, intelligence, reason, and creativity. a wonderful outcome of the university's influence and the massification of universal basic education. However, there could soon be less motivation for humans to learn and develop given the speed at which Artificial Intelligence (AI) is developing. AI is currently capable of replicating and even surpassing many of our thinking abilities. There is a serious risk that we may then lose our education and our ability to make decisions about the future. Despite all the hoopla around AI, we must carefully weigh these hazards in order to choose whether to "stick or twist" and if the benefits outweigh the risks as a group. The purpose of this paper is to spark a discussion and lessen the likelihood that we sleepwalk to a place we regret and are unable to escape. In order to slow down the pace of advancement and allow time for thoughtful decisions on the best course for mankind, we also offer thirteen specific ideas for how AI breakthroughs should be governed.
