Abstract

This article discusses about  a rich array of grammatical, cross-linguistic, and pragmatic dimensions of modality expression. By examining how languages encode and convey modality, linguists gain deeper insights into the complexities of human communication and the ways speakers navigate uncertainty and social interaction through language.
