Understanding Respect in English Culture in Uzbekistan
Abstract
Respect is a universal value that holds varying significance across different cultures. In Uzbekistan, where traditions are deeply rooted in history and society, the concept of respect is largely shaped by local customs, social hierarchies, and family values. However, as English culture becomes more prominent due to globalization, education, and diplomatic relations, the understanding of respect from an English cultural perspective is increasingly gaining relevance. This article explores how respect in English culture is perceived and integrated into the context of Uzbekistan.
