Abstract

Hepatitis C remains a significant global health concern, affecting millions worldwide. Recent advancements, particularly with direct-acting antivirals (DAAs), have revolutionized treatment, offering cure rates over 95% with fewer side effects. Despite these advances, challenges in diagnosis, treatment access, and public health strategies persist. This article reviews the current course of Hepatitis C, its clinical features, modern treatments, and future directions toward global eradication.
