Abstract

This article analyzes the activity of Karakalpak ethnography in 2005-2011, the results of research, their achievements and shortcomings, important aspects for the science, new research directions, neglected topics, and suspension of dissertation defenses. The article shows how the science of Karakalpak ethnography has changed in terms of quantity and quality compared to previous years.
