This paper explores a pedagogical approach to educating youth in the spirit of patriotism, inspired by the scientific heritage of the Jadids. The Jadids, Central Asian reformists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, emphasized the need for education that fosters cultural identity, critical thinking, and social responsibility. Their ideas continue to offer valuable insights for modern education, particularly in promoting patriotism that is both reflective and forward-looking. This study highlights five key pedagogical principles based on Jadid teachings: integrating cultural and national identity, fostering critical thinking, emphasizing moral values, encouraging unity and tolerance, and promoting a forward-looking patriotism. By combining these foundational principles with contemporary educational methods, educators can inspire a sense of informed and responsible patriotism in students. This approach not only strengthens students' connection to their heritage but also prepares them to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s future.
