Abstract

Language is like a living organism, always growing and changing, and neologisms are like its newest
babies—freshly coined words and phrases that keep English lively and relevant. In this thesis, we're going to dive into the
world of neologisms and why they matter for everyday English speakers like you and me. They reflect what's happening in
our world—new technology, trends, and cultural shifts. But they're more than just trendy words; they're like little
snapshots of our society's creativity and adaptability. In this study, we'll explore where neologisms come from, how they
spread, and why they're important. We'll see how they shape the way we talk and think, and how they help us express
ourselves in our fast-paced, ever-changing world.
