Abstract

the proverb is a manifestation of folk oral creativity, in which the people's dream hopes, thoughts and indulgences are reflected. Taking into account these aspects, the study of the linguistic aspects of Proverbs will not be exaggerated to say that this is one of the current parables of today's linguistics. In this article, several proverbs with a female character from Proverbs in English and Uzbek were linguoculturologically analyzed. In it, the image of a woman in English and Uzbek linguistics is also analyzed lexically.
