Abstract

This research is aimed at exploring the role that family support plays in the improvement of the academic performance of high school female students through conducting an analysis for exploring the relationship holding between family support and academic achievement. The research problem is based on the observation of poor academic performance among many students due to lack of sufficient family support impacting their educational results. The present research is important as it highlights the vital role played by families in enhancing students' academic performance, along with proposed measures to enhance this support for creating a more motivational environment in the educational process. A descriptive-analytical methodology is employed in this research, with data collected through surveys directed at students and their families to analyze the relationship between family support and academic achievement. The findings reveal that students who receive greater family support perform better academically, while also experiencing improved self-confidence and the ability to adapt to academic demands. Additionally, the results indicate that good communication between the family and the student plays a significant role in enhancing their academic performance. Among the recommendations, it is advised to encourage continuous communication between the family and the student to discuss academic challenges and provide appropriate support. It is also recommended to create a supportive educational environment at home that fosters academic achievement and success.
