Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technologies (ICT) has significantly transformed various aspects of society, necessitating the development of legal frameworks to regulate cyber activities and ensure cybersecurity. This paper explores the emergence of cyber law as a distinct legal domain, driven by the need to address virtual legal relationships, protect intellectual property rights online, and regulate the digital economy. Additionally, it examines the ethical concerns associated with cyber activities, including data privacy, security, intellectual property rights, and online conduct. The study further delves into the implications of cyber regulations on businesses, governments, and individuals, emphasizing the necessity of evolving legal structures to keep pace with technological innovation. Moreover, it highlights how international cooperation and harmonization of cyber laws can enhance global cybersecurity efforts, ensuring a resilient and equitable digital landscape.
