The Realization of Categories of Aspectuality and Temporality in the Functional-Semantic Field

Abstract

This article provides the theoretical framework for the functional application of aspectual semantics and their study within the discourse and within the prototypical theory of aspectuality. In prototype theory, words are defined on the basis of specific samples. In the prototypical of aspectuality, meanings with a fundamental dynamic nature and a fundamental stative nature are graded from stativism to dynamism, and also according to aspects of state change-as a result, word meanings or categories are determined on the basis of text, linguistics and also general conceptual properties. On this basis, the issue of prototypical semantics arises.
