Abstract

This article is dedicated to the application of traditional Uzbek vocal styles in modern vocal education. The study analyzes the influence of maqom art, folk songs, and the performance traditions of ashula on contemporary vocal pedagogy. Based on the decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of culture and arts, the necessity of integrating national vocal techniques into academic vocal performance is substantiated. The research results highlight opportunities for enhancing students’ performance potential through the use of traditional vocal styles in vocal pedagogy.
