Abstract

This article focuses on how globalisation and cultural dynamics promote cross-cultural communication and influence rather than creating a single global culture. Every culture evolves as a result of its individuality and relationships with other cultures. Individuals who embrace other cultures while upholding their own cultural values are said to be culturally plural. Additionally, the paper emphasises how important cultural differences, ethnocentrism, and stereotypes are to cross-cultural communication. It also highlights how crucial empathy and knowledge of cultural context are to avoiding miscommunication and guaranteeing successful dialogue.
