Abstract

This study focuses on cyber security operations and management within the context of post-basic education and career development (PBECD) in Nigeria. Through a thorough analysis of existing literature and case studies, the paper explores the factors that makes the educational institutions appealing for cyber-attacks and benefits of cyber security in the management of Post-Basic Education and Career Development (PBECD) in Nigeria. Additionally, the study examines strategies for effectively managing cyber security within the PBECD system, including training and education for educators and students, implementation of security protocols, and collaboration with industry experts. By addressing the unique challenges faced by Nigeria in relation to cyber security and education, this paper aims to provide valuable insights and recommendations for improving the cyber security landscape and promoting successful cyber security integration in the management of Post-Basic Education and Career Development (PBECD) in Nigeria.
