Abstract

Inclusive education is not limited simply with integrating children with disabilities – it also involves responding to the diverse needs of all learners, particularly those from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. This review focuses on how teachers in primary schools can be trained to support inclusivity by recognizing and nurturing the talents of children from underprivileged homes. It discusses existing challenges such as unequal home environments, digital distractions, and economic disparities, and explores teacher preparation strategies to address them. The paper advocates for a shift in teacher training programs to equip educators with the skills and mindset necessary to create truly inclusive classrooms, including the effective integration of AI technology.
