Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the principal's transformational leadership at the Inpres Kolongan elementary school. The focus of this study covers four main characteristics of transformational leadership, namely ideal influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual consideration.

The research method used is a qualitative approach with interview techniques, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.

The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the principal's transformational leadership has been seen at the Inpres Kolongan Elementary School. In terms of ideal influence, the principal is a role model in discipline and professionalism. In terms of inspirational motivation, the principal has succeeded in building teacher motivation through a clear vision and moral support. In terms of intellectual stimulation, the principal encourages innovation in learning methods. While in terms of individual consideration, the principal's personal attention to teachers has a positive impact on increasing motivation.
