Abstract

This paper discussed the benefits of integration cyber security and resilience in educational management in Nigeria. The paper is a review paper that depend secondary data. The secondary data were collected from print and online publications. The paper concluded that stable academic programme, protection of academic records and protection of students, staff and school data are benefits of integrating cyber security and resilience in educational management in Nigeria. Based on this findings, and considering the important roles cyber security and resilience are playing in safe guard school data in educational management in Nigeria, the paper recommends that government should increase the budgetary allocation to education. This will enable education managers to provide modern cyber security and resilience in the operation of educational management in Nigeria. Government should ensure education manager and officers in cyber security units are constantly expose to training and retraining programme. Private institutions and organizations in Nigeria should support by providing technical support.
