Abstract

This paper clarifies the content and essence of such concepts as "differentiation", "differentiated education", "differentiated approach", "individualization", "classification". The problem of organizing the educational process in secondary schools, lyceums and higher educational institutions on the basis of a differentiated approach is considered.
