Abstract

In this article, the specific features of forming active citizenship competence in adolescent students with the help of media products were studied. The types of media products and their role in the life of teenagers were analyzed, as well as the important aspects of developing legal consciousness, social responsibility and democratic values of active citizenship through these tools were revealed. In the article, aspects such as the interactivity of media products, the variety of information sources, and the possibilities of participation in social networks were defined as the specific features of the formation of active citizenship competence. Also, practical recommendations on the effective use of media products during the educational process were presented. The article is aimed at helping teenagers to form an active and responsible citizenship position in the digital environment.
