Abstract

This article explores how tourist arrivals from neighbouring countries including Bolivia, Brazil, and Chile to Argentina are affected by factors like common language, political stability, government effectiveness, etc., using traditional linear regression analyse method with data set of an observation on 3 origin countries from the world back in the period of 1995-2016. The outcome indicates that political stability in both origin and destination has a positive impact on tourist arrivals, while government effectiveness and common language of both origin and destination have negative impacts.
