Abstract

This article analyzes the reflection of Emir Timur's image in the diaries of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, how Atatürk evaluated him, and the historical and political significance of these assessments. The study highlights Atatürk's respect for Emir Timur and his evaluation of Timur's leadership qualities. Additionally, the article examines Emir Timur’s political strategies and military successes in comparison with Atatürk's perspectives. This research holds significant importance in understanding the influence of historical figures on modern state-building.
