Western European 20th-Century Navoi studies

Abstract

This article analyzes the main directions of Navoi studies that developed in Western Europe in the 20th century, its scientific methods and research. The attention of Western European scholars to the work of Alisher Navoi, his contributions to the study of his literary, aesthetic and cultural heritage are considered. The article analyzes the main problems that arose in the translation, interpretation of Navoi's works and oriental studies, as well as their scientific solutions. At the same time, the rise of Western European Navoi studies in the 20th century and its place in modern oriental studies are highlighted.
