Problems of Environmental Education at the Present Stage

Abstract

This article is devoted to the issues of environmental education at the present stage in the context of overcoming the growing environmental crisis in the modern world, and also focuses on the implementation of environmental education based on the need to carry out environmental protection measures. In addition, the article examines the theoretical foundations of improving environmental knowledge of students and the formation of environmental culture, the most important area of educational activity - environmental education, education and the process of forming an environmental culture. The factors influencing the effectiveness of the formation of environmental culture, its components, as well as the goals of environmental education and the features of the environmental and pedagogical culture of the teacher are considered.
