Abstract

The article “Pedagogical and Psychological Features of Improving Critical Thinking Skills in Students” explores the interrelation between teaching strategies and psychological factors in fostering critical thinking among learners. It emphasizes the role of student-centered, inquiry-based, and dialogical pedagogical approaches, along with authentic assessment and digital literacy, in creating conditions for critical thought. From a psychological perspective, the article highlights the influence of cognitive development, motivation, metacognition, emotional well-being, and social interaction on students’ ability to think critically. The integration of these pedagogical and psychological features is presented as essential for cultivating independent, reflective, and problem-solving skills in students. The findings suggest that a supportive and innovative learning environment enhances both academic success and lifelong critical thinking competence.
