Approaches to Developing Skills and Competencies for Purposeful use of Electronic Spreadsheets

Abstract

This article highlights the issues of developing students’ skills and competencies in the field of information technology through the effective and purposeful use of electronic spreadsheets. The study analyzes the role of electronic spreadsheets in the teaching process, methods of applying them in practical tasks, and their impact on the development of analytical thinking among students. In addition, methodological recommendations are provided to enhance the effectiveness of using electronic spreadsheets based on modern pedagogical technologies.
