Improving the Physical Preparedness and Functional State of Students with Disabilities in Higher Education Institutions

This study explores effective methods to improve the physical preparedness and functional state of students with disabilities studying in higher education institutions. The research emphasizes the importance of adaptive physical education, rehabilitation exercises, and psychological motivation in enhancing students’ motor abilities, cardiovascular endurance, and overall health. A 12-week experimental program was implemented among students with physical limitations to assess improvements in flexibility, balance, and endurance. The results show that targeted physical training significantly contributes to improving both the physical and functional capacities of these students
