Abstract

This article examines the theoretical underpinnings of interpreting responsibility and self-sacrifice within the spiritual and moral heritage of the Uzbek people. It explores the philosophical dimensions of these concepts, highlighting how notions of duty, loyalty, and altruism have been cultivated historically and culturally among the Uzbek community. The study emphasizes the significance of preserving and transmitting these values to contemporary society, proposing strategies for nurturing responsibility and selflessness in individuals, particularly the youth, through education and moral guidance. Drawing on the literary heritage of the Uzbek people, the article also provides an analytical assessment of the representation of ecological responsibility and self-sacrifice, demonstrating how literary works reflect and reinforce social and ethical norms. By connecting historical traditions with modern societal needs, the research underlines the relevance of spiritual and moral education in shaping conscientious citizens who act in the interest of the community, nation, and environment. Ultimately, the study argues that understanding and promoting these values is essential not only for individual moral development but also for the social cohesion and sustainable progress of society.
