Abstract

Pastures are one of the most important factors in providing primary food for small horned mollusks. Effective use of pastures is primarily considered an important factor in ensuring food security, while increasing pasture productivity and reducing degradation is the main factor in livestock development. In the pastures, income is achieved mainly due to the grazing of small horned cattle and the use of natural resources. The article reveals the specific features of pasture livestock farming today, the efficiency indicators of their use, and the specific features of strengthening the fodder base of small horned cattle. It should be noted that today more than 60 percent of the existing 17 million hectares of pastures of our republic have been degraded to varying degrees, of which 40 percent have a high level of degradation. From this information, we can see that increasing the productivity of pastures, preventing the destruction of desert pasture ecology, and ensuring medical diversity are important not only for the livestock industry, but also for food security in the future for food security. Also, the article provides suggestions on the productivity of pastures and periods of seasonal use of pastures, and the dependence of existing pastures on natural factors is analyzed. In the article, in the evaluation of the productivity of pastures, attention is paid to aspects such as pasture yield and plant diversity, nutritional value.
