Abstract

It is not an exaggeration to say that the method of distance education is more effective than the traditional education system that we have been used to for centuries. In this article, distance education in the higher education system and its characteristics, methods, forms and means of organizing the distance education system, its importance, distance education models and their types are shown in detail, opinions about the possibility of learning at a convenient time, place and environment are summarized.
