Abstract

The focus of this research is 1) implementation of village fund management policies in increasing village development in Sumalata District, North Gorontalo Regency, and 2) What factors determine the success of implementing village fund management policies in increasing village development in Sumalata District, North Gorontalo Regency. The approach used in this research is qualitative. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out using interview techniques, observation and documentation studies. The data analysis technique in this research was carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions/verification. The research results show 1) implementation of village fund management policies in Sumalata District, North Gorontalo Regency is already underway, but not yet optimal. This is proven by the use of village funds, determining priorities for the use of village funds, as well as the publication and reporting of determining priorities for the use of village funds which are still not in accordance with the policy of North Gorontalo Regent Regulation Number 30 of 2022 concerning Technical Instructions for the Use of Village Funds in 2023; 2) What factors hinder the successful implementation of village fund management policies in improving village development in Sumalata District, North Gorontalo Regency, policy standards and targets, resources, communication between organizations, characteristics of implementing agents, attitude (disposition) of implementers and conditions of the social environment , economics, and politics.
