Abstract
Ecotourism has emerged as a rapidly growing sector within the global tourism industry, driven by increasing consumer demand for sustainable and environmentally-conscious travel experiences.
This article presents a comprehensive framework for developing effective ecotouristic strategies that can maximize the positive impact of this industry while minimizing its potential drawbacks. The study employed a multifaceted research approach, including literature review, stakeholder interviews, comparative analysis, scenario planning, and collaborative workshops. The results outline key guiding principles, a strategic framework, policy and regulatory recommendations, destination management strategies, product and experience design guidelines, stakeholder engagement approaches, and impact measurement and monitoring frameworks.
