Legislative Practice of Compensation for the Seizure of Land Plots for State Needs in Foreign Countries

Abstract
The article analyzes the legislative practice of compensation for the seizure of land plots for state needs in foreign countries, which is based on constitutional guarantees of the right of private ownership of land, as well as the norms of civil and land legislation. In particular, based on the analysis of the legislation of such countries as Germany, Norway, Austria, the USA. It is concluded that the foreign jurisdictions of the analyzed states allow the seizure of land plots for public needs, that is, for both state and public needs, subject to the payment of compensation to the owner.
