Abstract
The first quarter of the 20th century was a period of real renewal for Uzbek poetry. The view of poetry as an aesthetic phenomenon has increased. The artistic form became equal to the advanced artistic content. But what specific tasks did the modernized literature and literary studies set before itself, and what were the tasks of the renewal? To answer this question, it is necessary to fully imagine the spiritual roots of the Jadidism movement, to systematically analyze the emergence of the issue of "national poetry" and its interpretations and theoretical foundations. Only after that, it will be possible to think about the world of poetic images and methodological aspects of the new Uzbek poetry. In Jadid's poetry, the poetic perception of the world was in the spirit of "ilmi bade'". This generation fully relied on the foundation of classical literature until it systematized its central images in its poetry and created new poetic symbols. The attitude of the generation in the approach to the images brought the poetry of the generation to the field. In this case, the essence of the existing symbols was updated, the semantic scope was expanded. In the studies related to the topic, modern literature is considered as a literary trend, a literary movement, a literary movement. It is known that it was formed under the influence of enlightenment literature fed by classical literature and the press and literature of brotherly nations with such a mood. From this reason, Jadidism had the foundations of its development. Jadidism went the way of restoring the glorious history and culture of the people, creating national textbooks and study guides, conducting language policy, getting closer to world literature, and most importantly, establishing a national literature saturated with the idea of independence.
