Abstract

This article examines the theoretical and legal bases of the concepts of “child” and “minor”, as well as their relationship. These concepts are analyzed in international agreements and national legislation. In the context of the universalization of international documents in the field of children's rights, legal clarification of the age of majority has been interpreted in different approaches to its regulation in national legal systems. The author's proposal was put forward based on the views, proposals and opinions of scientists who defined the concepts of “child” and “minor”.
