Abstract
This study is dedicated to the development of a methodology for forming linguistic-professional competence (LPC) in future tour guides-translators in the context of learning the French language. The research focuses on the integration of a regional component into the educational program, allowing future specialists to effectively convey their regional culture through communication with representatives of other cultures. The primary focus is on teaching methods that address the professional needs of future tour guides and the development of competencies necessary for successful communication with foreign tourists in various situations.
Special attention is given to the creation of educational materials aimed at mastering specialized vocabulary and communicative skills, which are essential for working in the tourism sector. The study identifies key factors that contribute to effective learning, such as the use of communicative methods, fostering creativity in students, and the inclusion of practical tasks corresponding to real professional situations. As a result of this methodology development, students will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for successful professional activity in the tourism field, meeting contemporary requirements.
