Formation of Orthoepic Competence in Foreign Language Teaching in Cadets

Abstract

This article examines the problems of forming orthoepic competence of cadets within the framework of raising the level of speech culture. The problem is considered as part of the formation of orthoepic competence of future military personnel. The article substantiates the ever-increasing importance of the formation of orthoepic competence, the main reasons for the need to improve professionally oriented oral speech, methodological tools for the formation of orthoepic competence of cadets, and examples of their use are given.
