By evaluating legislative reforms and institutional frameworks, the article identifies gaps in compliance and explores opportunities for harmonization. Particular attention is given to transboundary water cooperation, environmental protection, and the role of international agreements such as the UNECE Water Convention and SDG 6 targets.
