Abstract

The article considers the problem of restoring missing and asynchronous sensor data in automatic control systems for heating and water supply. The problem of synchronizing information from different sensors is relevant for increasing the stability and accuracy of control, especially in real-time conditions. As the main approach, approximation by a third-order polynomial is proposed, implemented as part of a software module based on the ESP32 microcontroller. A comparison with other restoration methods is made, including linear interpolation, spline approach, and the last-value filling method. The experimental results showed that the proposed method provides minimal restoration errors while preserving the general shape of the signal. Special attention is paid to practical implementation and evaluation of computational complexity, which confirms the possibility of using the method in real embedded systems.
