Legal Mechanisms of Digital Evidence in Criminal Proceedings

Abstract

This article examines the legal mechanisms of the institution of digital evidence in criminal proceedings. Digital evidence is becoming increasingly important as a means of proof in criminal cases with the development of modern technologies. The article analyzes the national and international legal framework for the collection, storage, verification and presentation of digital evidence. At the same time, the problems encountered in working with digital evidence and ways to solve them are discussed.
