Abstract

The article deals with the issues of correlation between the law and the code in the legal system of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the hierarchy of existing legal acts. The article notes that the legal status of the codes in the national legal doctrine and in the current legislation is not defined, since the codes are not listed in the hierarchy of normative legal acts. In this regard, it is relevant to analyze correlation of the law and the code on the basis of the current legislation.

The article analyzes the relevant legislative norms of the codes, which to some extent reveal the real relationship between the law and the code in the legal system of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
