Occupational Hygiene Problems and Susceptibility to Allergic Diseases in Cotton Processing Enterprises

Abstract
In the work there is outlined a possibility of risk of gastrointestinal tract morbidity among wormen engaged in cotton-processing industry depending on working conditions when pesticides are in use. In the workmen, in a contact with pesticides there is noted a disorder of proteinsynthesizing function of the liver and lipid exchange; this points to a need of a profound medical control over this category of workmen. The labor activity of workers in the crop industry is characterized by the fact that most of the main types of work are carried out outdoors most of the time of the year. At the same time, the workers are constantly affected by a complex of meteorological factors, the intensity of which is determined by the climatic zone, season and weather conditions. In the mechanization of processes, in addition to undeniable advantages, there are also disadvantages that can destroy human health. The hygienic feature of the work of livestock breeders also lies in the potential for the occurrence of diseases transmitted from animals to humans.
