Abstract

This article is devoted to the presentation of information available in the literature on premorbid factors
that affect the development of congenital heart defects and community-acquired pneumonia in young
children. Community-acquired pneumonia in children with various forms of congenital heart defects
is very difficult and leads to various complications. The analysis of the information obtained from the
literature data will help pediatricians in making the correct diagnosis and improving comprehensive
combination therapy, medical examination, rehabilitation and catamnesis of sick children with
community-acquired pneumonia against the background of congenital heart defects.
