Dynamics of microbiological parameters of the oral cavity with an innovative approach to the complex therapy of mandibular fractures

Abstract

Due to the fact that fractures of the mandible are the most common among injuries to the bones of the facial skeleton, the introduction of modern methods of treating injuries of this localization, which have a positive effect on the healing process of fractures, accelerate tissue regeneration and prevent the development of inflammatory processes is an important task of modern medicine. The article presents the results of complex treatment of fractures of the mandible, the key points of which are the inclusion in the traditional therapy regimen of immobilization of bone fragments using cortical screws, local application of Traumel-C ointment and infrared radiation sessions.
