Main Article Content
Abstract
Leukoplakia is a precancerous disease characterized by the appearance of a white spot or plaque on the oral mucosa, slightly protruding above the level of the mucosa. The disease begins with the formation of a small area of inflammation, which remains unnoticed due to the absence of pronounced symptoms - only a whitish or gray coating may be present.
