Abstract

A separate problem is the so-called pre-stroke cognitive disorders. Clinical practice and research results suggest that in some stroke patients, cognitive impairment can be suspected retrospectively even before stroke. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is characterized by the development of a chronic inflammatory process of the respiratory tract, lung parenchyma and blood vessels, in which an increased number of neutrophils, macrophages and T-lymphocytes is detected in various anatomical structures of the respiratory system.
