Abstract
Information regarding patient outcomes following surgery for spinal cord tumours has been obtained from studies conducted at individual medical institutions. The aim of this study is to provide a comprehensive analysis of inpatient problems, mortality rates, and outcomes at a nationwide scale. And this study was designed using the IBM SOFT SPSS 22 statistical analysis program. Where 120 patients were collected from several different hospitals, the patient’s quality of life was described according to the HRQOL scale.
in this study recorded mortality rate and the complication18.3% and 7.5%respectively and found the most complication on this study were neurological damage ( 1.6%), hardware failure(2.5%), dural tear (2.5%), cerebrospinal fluid leakage ( 1.6%),wound-related ( 3.3%), surgical site infection( 4.1 %) and A single postoperative complication increased the length of stay by four days.
Statistical analysis revealed that greater age and the presence of numerous comorbidities were associated with a higher incidence of complications. The likelihood of a negative result rose substantially in those over the age of 64, who had many underlying health conditions and experienced problems after surgery.
